Loveland Castle

Loveland Castle, also known as Chateau Laroche, is a museum built along the Little Miami River in Loveland, Ohio.  In 1955, Harry D. Andrews began building the castle by hand by carrying stones from the river or molding cement from milk cartons.  Andrews was a World War I veteran and medievalist who loved the architecture of the old castles in Europe.  He designed the European style castle for his Sunday school students to have a place for them to camp, fish, boat, and swim.  There are several items on display, such as a suit of armor, a piece of the Berlin Wall, and the Andrews family coat of arms granted by King Henry VIII.  Andrews continued working on the wall until his death in 1981, at the age of 91.  visit: lovelandcastle.com

Bishop's Quarter

Bishop’s Quarter is a beautiful 3 level bar located just off the bike trail directly in the heart of historic Loveland. Focusing on fine wine, bourbon, and craft beer, Bishop’s Quarter is the end result stemming from the tragic fire that devastated downtown Loveland in 2017.

The first floor has a classic cocktail bar feel that gives off the vibe of the French Quarter combined with an outdoor back patio perfect for a relaxing evening of cocktails and live music. Bourbon will be a focus of this floor, with over 40 bourbons available for the guest to enjoy.

“The View”, our second level, is a beautifully designed area focused on comfort, warmth, and wine. From the fireplace to the couches and love seats to the side patio overlooking the sunset, The View will be the spot to dive into our extensive wine list that keeps a balance of new world and old world options.

Walk up our final staircase and “The Landing” will be your destination. This is our rooftop bar. Industrial design, craft beer, televisions, and a huge outdoor area will make this Loveland’s most desirable spot for most of the year. Retractable garage doors will create an open air setting that is so popular today and will be the spot to watch a game or grab a beer and some food after a day of enjoying all the outdoor activities Loveland offers!

We have created an incredible menu for the guests to enjoy. Small bites, shareables, and Southern comfort food! We offer a twist on classic New Orleans cuisine and dishes from the South. The menu is written for the guest to be able to control how much food is coming their way, allowing them to try 2 or 3 items without feeling overwhelmed. Smoked chicken wings, hand cut frites, shrimp and grits, steak, tacos, flatbreads, and multiple oyster options highlight Bishop’s Quarter’s menu.

Welcome to Bishop’s Quarter! We are so excited to see you and show you everything Bishop’s Quarter has to offer. Let the Good Times Roll!
